strawberry milkshake girl

i've received several questions about who was the mysterious strawberry milkshake girl. well, she is someone that i've been spending some time with lately. today, we met this afternoon and took the two girls, beansprout and peanut, down to old town. had a great time on wednesday with the group of us in downtown dc walking through the cherry blossoms (although most of them had been blown off), monuments, and smithsonian. beansprout saw her first imax, although the thunder and lighting of the hurricane on-screen scared her and she hid in my chest. i really enjoy spending time with strawberry and beansprout. she is nice, intelligent, articulate, and beautiful. i'm a little afraid sometimes, but i think we're on a good path. it's all about the journey, not some discrete end-point.
